Worker’s Compensation Insurance

If you want your check deposited into your account, we can provide direct deposit services for you.

Employee Assistance Program
Our employees can gain help with personal or financial problems through our employee assistance program at no initial cost to the employee.

Bereavement Support Services
Confidential and professional support services, including telephonic grief counseling and legal and financial consultation, to help employees and family members cope with the loss of a loved one.

Identity Theft Assistance
Employees who have been a victim of identity theft have access to a dedicated privacy advocate to act on their behalf to restore their identity.

Travel Assistance
Employees have access to pre-trip assistance and medical assistance, and other emergency services when traveling more than 100 miles from home or in a foreign country.

For employees with a part-time status or more, we offer all of the above PLUS: (* Benefits will be pro-rated)

Retirement Benefits – 401 (k) Plan
You can participate in retirement planning by contributing to your 401 (k) account. The 401(k) plan has 500 hours in six months requirement before enrollment.  You choose whether you want your contributions to be pre-tax or after-tax (Roth). You can enter the plan as of the first pay period following 90 days of employment.

For employees with a part-time status of 20 or more hours per week, we offer all of the above PLUS:

Paid Time Off
This benefit gives you as much flexibility as possible when you need or wants time off. The program combines vacation, holiday, and sick leave into one flexible plan. We have different accrual rates that automatically increase with seniority.

Continuing Education
Professional development is essential to all of us here at Burger. That is why we offer unlimited free online education to eligible employees at Medbridge.com

For employees with a status of 30 or more hours per week, we offer all of the above PLUS:

Medical Coverage
You have multiple medical insurance plans, so you can choose the one that works best for you and your family. Burger subsidizes premium payments to help make insurance more affordable. Your insurance will be effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment in your benefit-eligible position.

Dental Coverage
We offer a comprehensive PPO dental plan with a wide array of dentists. Your insurance will be effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment in your benefit-eligible position.

Vision
We offer a comprehensive vision plan, offering the best in eye care and eyewear.

Health Savings Accounts
We offer the opportunity for an employee to open a Health Savings Account if you choose one of our high-deductible health insurance plans.

Legal Shield
We offer employees the opportunity to elect a legal plan for themselves and their families for access to attorneys who can provide advice and assistance on various personal legal issues.

Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Plans
We pay for life insurance and long-term disability plans for employees. Your insurance will be effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment in your benefit-eligible position.

Voluntary Insurances
In conjunction with the AFLAC Company, Burger offers employees the option of participating in numerous voluntary insurance programs, including supplemental life, cancer, and short-term disability. Your insurance will be effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment in your benefit-eligible position.
